Haitham bin Tariq
Haitham bin Tariq Al Said is the Sultan of Oman, having ascended to power on 11 January 2020 following the death of his cousin Sultan Qaboos bin Said. Prior to becoming Sultan, he served as Minister of Heritage and Culture and was known for his expertise in Omani cultural affairs and heritage preservation.
