Enoch Burke

Enoch Burke is an Irish secondary school teacher who gained national attention in 2022 for refusing to use transgender pronouns at Wilson's Hospital School in County Westmeath. Burke was suspended and later dismissed from his teaching position. He has been repeatedly jailed for contempt of court after violating injunctions barring him from the school premises, spending over 400 days in Mountjoy Prison as of 2024.
