Cristina Fernández de Kirchner

Cristina Fernández de Kirchner is an Argentine lawyer and politician who served as the 55th President of Argentina from 2007 to 2015 and as Vice President from 2019 to 2023. She is the leader of the left-wing Kirchnerist faction of the Justicialist Party and was convicted in 2022 on corruption charges related to public works contracts, a verdict she has appealed.
