Cornell William Brooks

Cornell William Brooks is an American civil rights attorney, minister, and professor best known for serving as the 18th President and CEO of the NAACP from 2014 to 2017, where he led campaigns on criminal justice reform, voting rights, and environmental justice. He currently serves as a Professor of the Practice of Public Leadership and Dialogue at Harvard Kennedy School, a Visiting Professor at Harvard Divinity School, and Director of the Trotter Collaborative for Social Justice.
