Ata Mohammad Noor
Ata Mohammad Noor is an Afghan politician and former governor of Balkh Province (2004-2018) who is known as one of Afghanistan's most powerful regional leaders and commander of the Jamiat-e Islami party. He played a significant role as a mujahideen commander during the Soviet-Afghan War and remains an influential figure in Afghan politics.
