Ashraf Rifi

Ashraf Rifi is a Lebanese politician and former security official who served as Interior Minister from 2014-2016. A Sunni Muslim from Tripoli, he previously held senior positions in Lebanon's Internal Security Forces. Rifi has been a vocal critic of Hezbollah's influence in Lebanese politics and advocates for stronger state institutions and reduced Iranian influence in the country.
