Abraham Cooper is an American rabbi and a prominent advocate for Jewish human rights. As Associate Dean and Director of Global Social Action at the Simon Wiesenthal Center, he has led initiatives combating antisemitism, promoting tolerance, and defending religious freedom worldwide. He co-founded the Center in 1977 with Rabbi Marvin Hier and has since engaged with global leaders to advance human rights. He served as Chairman of the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom during the 2023–2024 term and has authored works on religious persecution.
