WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control

The WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control is the first international treaty developed by WHO. It was approved by the World Health Assembly in 2003 and entered into force in 2005. Since then, it has become one of the most widely accepted treaties in the history of the UN.
