Richard Marles

Richard Marles serves as Australia's Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister since May 2022 under Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. The Labor Party politician has represented the Victorian seat of Corio since 2007. Previously served as Deputy Labor Leader from 2019-2022 and held various shadow ministerial portfolios including immigration and defence.
