Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus

Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus is an Ethiopian public health scientist, diplomat, and researcher, serving as Director-General of the World Health Organization since 2017; prior to that he held ministerial roles in Ethiopia including Health and Foreign Affairs, and has led the WHO through challenges such as Ebola, COVID-19, and efforts toward universal health coverage.
