Raina Plowright

Raina Plowright is a disease ecologist and professor at Cornell University's College of Veterinary Medicine who studies how viruses spill over from wildlife to humans, particularly from bat populations. She previously served as a professor at Montana State University and has conducted extensive research on preventing pandemic spillover events through understanding ecological mechanisms.
