Bureau of Reclamation

The Bureau of Reclamation is a federal agency within the U.S. Department of the Interior responsible for managing water resources in the western United States, operating hundreds of dams and power plants. Founded in 1902, it is best known for constructing major water infrastructure projects including the Hoover Dam and managing the Colorado River system.
