Edgar Villanueva

Edgar Villanueva is an American author and activist who founded the Decolonizing Wealth Project and Liberated Capital, organizations devoted to reforming philanthropy and financial systems to be more equitable and reparative. His bestselling book Decolonizing Wealth: Indigenous Wisdom to Heal Divides and Restore Balance (2018, 2021) challenges traditional power structures in wealth and gives frameworks for funders to shift resources back to communities historically harmed by colonialism and systemic racism.
