Scott R. Anderson

Scott R. Anderson is a fellow in governance studies at the Brookings Institution and serves as general counsel and senior editor for Lawfare. A former U.S. diplomat and government attorney, he is an expert in foreign relations law, international law, and national security policy, particularly relating to the Middle East. Anderson previously worked as an attorney-adviser for the U.S. Department of State.
