Markwayne Mullin

Markwayne Mullin is appointed as the ninth U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security, serving after March 31, 2026. He was previously a U.S. Senator from Oklahoma, sworn into office in 2023. He attended Missouri Valley College on a wrestling scholarship until he took over his family's plumbing business after his father fell ill. Over 27 years, Mullin and his wife have advanced the business to become the largest service company in the region.
