John Ratcliffe

John Ratcliffe is an American politician and attorney who has served as the director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) since January 2025. He previously held the position of director of national intelligence from 2020 to 2021 and was the U.S. representative for Texas's 4th congressional district from 2015 to 2020. Ratcliffe has also served as the mayor of Heath, Texas, and as the acting U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Texas.
